Anoint the Sky
It was late November last year in my neck of the woods, Colorado. We still had yet to receive snow and the neighbors were talking. They said, “If we don’t get snow soon, we’re going to be hurting this spring/summer”. I had been doing what I knew to do, which is binding and loosing over the weather; however, after three weeks nothing had changed. (If you don’t know what binding and loosing is, please see our blog post on the subject Matt 16:19).
Matt 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
One morning I was praying and asking God why we still hadn’t received any precipitation. I heard a still small voice say, “Anoint the sky”.
It was so absurd to think about how I would go about “anointing the sky” that I just dropped the subject. (Forgive me, Lord). I am transparent with you because sometimes when we pray, the answers are so simple we dismiss them! What have you heard the still, small voice say that you dismissed as silly? It could be the answer you’ve been waiting for!
The next day in prayer, I heard it two more times. “Anoint the sky. Anoint the sky”.
When the Lord says something twice in the Bible it is very important. I took this to be equally important.
“Ok Lord. How do I anoint the sky”?
The Lord instructed me to put olive oil on my fingertips, all ten of them, and lift my hands to the sky in my backyard. I prayed with hands lifted.
Father, in Jesus Name, I recognize that You are God over all things. I anoint the sky in obedience to You to break the yoke of drought. I bind every principality, wicked spirit, dominion, power and throne in the second heaven that seeks to steal, kill and destroy what You want to give to the earth. I also pray a full reversal of what the chem trails have seeded here and send it back upon the heads of the senders and those who dust the trails in Jesus Name. Lord, please restore this desert wasteland back to the lushness that it once was. Bless the farmers, bless the crops, bless the harvest and the seasons in Jesus Christ Name. Amen
Within two days, we had snow! It was an incredible miracle! Praise the Lord!
God has not yet told me to cease anointing the sky and I believe this is something that will go on as part of our daily warfare. Why anoint the sky? The anointing breaks the yoke!
Isaiah 10:27
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Satan has been in control of weather manipulation for a very long time which includes causing catastrophic storms to steal, kill and destroy as well as holding back the rain, snow and much needed precipitation, which steals, kills and destroys. That’s what Satan does!
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steak, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I passed this information along to members of our church, which populate almost all continents on earth! Since then, I have received the following reports:
Mountains in Colorado have so much snow they are trucking it out!
Friends and co-workers are reporting drought in states where we don’t live and therefore aren’t anointing the sky! Tell them about God’s instruction!
Many of God’s people are anointing the sky and breaking up killer storms in Jesus Name as well as experiencing more rainfall and precipitation in recent years!
I am so excited to see what a difference this makes in a full year, two, three and five years! We don’t have to accept drought! We don’t receive anything Satan gives!
God is a GOOD GOD. Expect His GOODNESS!
With God, all things are possible if you believe! Get out in your yards, grab your olive oil and anoint the sky in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! Just see what God does with your faith!
You don’t have to stop with anointing the sky. You can anoint your house, your vehicles, your neighborhood, your schools, grocery stores, court houses, gas pumps and libraries!
Instead of settling for defeat, why not start taking authority over your community and start changing things in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ?
